The Time my Grandmother Died

The time my grandmother died was a really desperate time for everybody in my family. It was a Friday morning seven years ago during Christmas time, and everything seemed to be nice and peaceful. It was eight o’clock and I was supposed to take a shower before my grandmother because we were going to go Christmas shopping and I always take my time getting ready. When I went to her bedroom, she was already awake, and I asked her if she wanted to take a shower first because I wanted to continue sleeping. She went to take a shower and when she was almost finished, she fell down and hit her head. It was going to be her time to die I guess because when my family took her to the doctor he told them that she that she didn’t hit her head like we thought, but rather she had had a blood clot in her brain and it was going to get her that day or sooner. I was really disappointed with myself because I thought it was my fault and that if I had taken the shower first, it wouldn’t have happened. Now I realize it wasn’t my fault after all these years. I really miss her because she used to be fun like a baseball game and adorable like a doll. She is and always will be a special person in my memory, and I admire her for being the best grandmother ever. At some point in the future I will meet her in heaven if god lets me, and I will tell her how special she was and how proud I am for the advice she gave me that has helped shape my life.

How do I post my work?

In order to post your writing on this blog, you will need to send me a copy of your work as an attachment through email. In other words, only I can post documents to this site. However, anyone can post a comment. We'll review how to do this in class.
